Challenge:

  • Develop a series of social media posts that can revive the branding on a social media front

  • Transform dated photography to appear recent and new

  • Share brand values in a modern design approach

Outcome:

  1. Designed 20 posts and social media videos to be used on all brand platforms/channels

  2. Developed a frame work for future social media projects

Rolfson Oil: The bad-asses of the oil industry

In order for us to truly help Rolfson Oil tackle their social media platforms and positioning, we had to understand the reputation that Rolfson Oil has for it’s current customers, what other competitors view Rolfson Oil, and the perception that wanted to achieve—the bad-asses of the oil industry. Rolfson Oil is willing to go through the distance and trouble in order to fuel their customers and bring in quality grade oil and fuel. The branded orange color is painted on all of their oil rigs and trucks so we wanted to use that color to expand the visual perception on social media.

What Rolfson stand for

Rolfson Oil is a family oriented company that treats their employees as extended family. Anyone who works with Rolfson will receive homing, meals throughout the day and more in order for them to rejuvenate as they endure through this taxing industry. The team members of Rolfson extenuate leadership, “get it done” mentality, and resilience to persevere and accomplish the goals. That was the fire that drove our designs to share on social media. We wanted Rolfson’s social media audience to know that Rolfson Oil leaves their mark wherever they step.

what was the outcome?

We created enough content for them to populate 3 of their social media channels for a month. On top of that we were able to create social media video and graphic content in which would revive their engagement with their audience.
